Sad to see Phonomenal closed 2 Sundays in a row. Glad we stopped by Pho 7 Cow across the street. Not only were they half the price of Phonomenal but the pho hits just like home. -Dac Biet It was everything you expected in a hot bowl of Vietnamese Pho. This comes out quick so prepare to be one of the first ones to eat at the table -Fillet Migon and Eggroll Vermicelli This was my favorite dish. Light, lots of veggies, and a splash of their house dipping sauce. Only gripe is that they did not have fresh peppers (ot hiem) like most Vietnamese restaurants do. The Vietnamese coffee was good but more on the sweeter side; Id reccomend asking for it to be a bit darker. Love the ambiance and traditional decorations they have displayed all over the restaurant. You do not have to worry about parking at all here!

One of the top pho spots in San Diego PHO SHO. They're always so fast to seat you, take your order, and come out with the food. Quality of food is ridiculous for how fast they are. It's usually loud and busy in here, but very easy to have a conversation with your table. I always order the egg rolls but more recently got into their spring rolls. Both are fire. The egg rolls are literally fire because they always come out so hot. I just wish they came with more lettuce to wrap it in. The dipping sauce is top tier too. Of course you gotta get their pho. I usually get rare steak and brisket and always finish everything.

Great food and great prices! This place was pretty close to us and my partner and I decided we wanted try it out, but not for pho, but the rice vermicelli dishes because that is what we were craving. We'll come back here to try the pho at some point. We placed the order at the restaurant itself since we wanted to do take out and the ambiance seemed really pleasant inside. It took maybe 10-15 minutes for our food to arrive to us. We ordered two sets of the grilled pork and egg roll vermicelli, two shrimp spring rolls, fillet mignon banh mi, and a Vietnamese coffee. I have to say, everything was just absolutely delicious. No complaints at all in the flavor department and they give you PLENTY of food! Everything was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely come back to try the pho since a few Vietnamese restaurants do prepare their stocks differently and we'd like to see how it tastes! Overall, a great location, workers, and food.

We were craving hot soup and stumbled upon Pho 7 Cow. We arrived later in the afternoon and found plenty of parking outside. As we entered, we quickly noticed that the place was relatively busy with seated guests and people in line. This could certainly be one of the best spots for Vietnamese food in the area. The customer service was excellent. The host was attentive and constantly managing the seating lineup and consistently checking on the tables. We were seated in 10 minutes. We ordered our usual pho with brisket and tendons. We also tried the grilled chicken with vegetables and egg rolls. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the soup was tasty and hot. The selected menu indeed satisfied our expectations. This place did not disappoint. The food was great and the staff were friendly. We will definitely stop by again.

One rainy day we were looking for pho. My local friend told me this was the best in the South Bay. Here was my experience. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking. We didn't have any issues. Seating: Inside seating for maybe about 100 people. Great for small groups and large groups Vibes: Welcome to National City! It is not the most flashy place, but it is a grit and-grind community with a lot of history, heart, and culture. This tends to yield a lot of Filipinos, so f or those into Filipino culture, you're in for a treat. The spot itself is pretty big, spacious and clean. It's well lit and I dig the different styles of art/photos paying homage to Vietnam. FOOD: House Special Pho 7 Cow (Recommend) A hearty bowl of pho. A lovely mix of rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, beef, and meatball. A good balance of noodles and meat. Don't forget to include the add-ons. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly people, quick with the service. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Great selections, reasonable prices, and a pleasant ambiance. National City is looking to have a gem like this. I look forward to coming back here when I'm in the area. TIPS: * They have Nước béo (fatty broth) if you ask them!
